Using DVDFab Ripper for iPhone Compatibility

I just ripped my first DVD using DVDFab Ripper but when I attempted to convert it to be a format compatible with my iPhone I got an .avi file. Is there a way I can convert movies from a DVD directly to an MP4 format using DVDFab Ripper?
