Since the future of a plastic disk is coming to a halt, how will we be able to record downloaded movies. Ive tried with amazon, but no success, since they use there own players, and itunes. Whats the future going to be like?

This has already happened with electronic distribution by Torrents.
Before a mod jumps in and deletes this post, there are both legal and illegal sites for downloads and I only advocate the former.
These files are saved to a hard disk and can be played by a variety of hardware and software players.
