Blank Media Right or Wrong DVD's

    Hi Guys,

Perhaps dumb of me to ask but I feel that I might have been cheated. Recently, went on Meritline's page and saw a sale for DVD's. Bought 100 of what I thought were Taiyo Yuden Discs. When I got them the wrapper read as JVC. The info card Read "for Professional Use". Victor Advanced Media Co.,LTD-Joint venture of Taiyo Yuden and Victor Company of Japan. Discs are not printed. No markings on discs except for a marking "TG000041" and an imprint in the plastic "YL814A401306P3". Did I get what I ordered or did I get ripped off. Await your knowlegeable answers!!!

I think you did fine, those should be TY 8x +R and probably the best there is.

If you want, you can stick one of those discs in and load up Imgburn and check what the MID is, then post that here and we'll be able to tell you for sure, but they're most likely the very good Taiyo Yudens. JVC and Taiyo Yuden are in business together now.
