Is it possible to rip a dvd to say a zune file then later convert it back and burn to a dvd.

Sorry not with DVDFab. Use google to find a program that can as we not able to say here since this forum is for DVDFab program support only

DVDFab can Rip to a file that can play on the Zune but can not convert it back to DVD compliant format.
