I've got the same problem on beta versions (8023 to 8031).

I have to go back to 8022 and it works

I don't understand why and I sent crash report from application.

The problem is still here on 8032 version. I sent a new crash report.

I don't understand why 8022works and next updates (beta or not) don't

            8.0.3.2 Crashes on Startup

I've tried 2 different machines, both running Windows 7 x64, same result.

This may be unrelated but I was experimenting and set the I/O mode to ASPI and boy that was the end of version 8. It would crash immediately, just a quick flash on the screen, or not start at all. In task manager the program would flash then would be gone. To get it back I had to use the uninstaller that is installed with Fab then run CCleaner on the registry twice to get rid of all references to DVDFab8. Reinstalled and set it up again in common settings and all is well. You can believe I left the I/O mode alone!
How to post the internal log

Oy... I'm so frustrated. I've uninstalled and cleaned all traces of the program using CCleaner and a few other utilities. I then reinstalled fresh and I still have the error.

I installed the trial version and I have the same problems.

Is there a way to download an older version?

                        Thanks for the website link.
I found that by changing my blu-ray drive letter from the letter B to something else it fixed the problem.

Changing the drive letter before installation fixed the problem. I thought I had tried everything... Thanks!

I changed my blu ray drive letter drive too. It works!

                            I do not understand why.

This is no 100% satisfaying because the letter B was quite ok for blu ray...

I tried to go back to letter B and I had a crash on start up.

So B is baned from dvdfab.

I hope this will be fixed in a new update because crashes could appear on a new letter.

I think drive letters A and B are reserved for something else and that why DVDFab crashed when selecting. Letters C and up work just fine as I have over 10 different drive letters all together which include HDD and DVD/BD Drives
