Other Possible to take out certain sections of main movie

My 2 yr old son loves the new Toy Story 3 movie, but doesn't want to watch it because of the monkey. Is there any way to delete certain sections of the movie? I've tried the cutomize and split features but that doesn't seemd to be it.

Well I'm not sure if this will work but you can try Customize and use the title start/end to keep the parts that not have monkey. Then once you have all parts on computer hard drive without monkey you can give the merge feature a try to se if it will merge them all together.
