    DVD vs File Converter

I generally backup my DVD's but now I'm interested in getting them into a mobile format for Zune and iPhone.

Sometimes I just need to convert some video files (non-DVD) to a mobile format.

Do I need both DVD Copy and File Converter? Or can I just get by with either one...ie, File Converter since it will convert from *.VOB/DVD?

Thanks in advance...didn't really search too hard as I'm trying to do this on my mobile device...

You will need both to do two basically two different procedures.

You will need DVD Ripper and File Converter.

Although DVD's contains VOB's and File Converter will process these, the actual titles & info are held in the DVD structure in multiple VOB's & IFO's and you will need the Ripper module to do this conversion correctly.

Wow, that's $90 less 20% for $72 to buy both. I can afford one or the other so I guess most of my conversion will be DVD to mobile, I guess I should get the DVD Ripper product.
