Hello - I am running DVDFab 9.1.9.6 on Mac and have the following problem:
I have several MKVs with one German DTS-soundtrack. Using the Media-Info-App I see that indeed "language ger" and it is labeled as German.
When I convert the MKV to MP4 (using format "MKV Passthrough" and selecting the soundtrack "German"), the resulting MP4 contains the DTS 5.1-track with label "eng" and consequently the German soundtrack is called "English" in any player (and also DVDFab now labels it as "English"). This is very confusing.
I have other MKVs with AC3-soundtracks labeled "soundtrack deu" ("deu" = deutsch = German) and they convert correctly (German stays German)!
Is this a known behavior and can this be reproduced by anyone...?
Thanks for any support!
