Amazon Music Downloader malfunction with Microsoft Edge Version

The latest version does NOT clear this up; when opened, the app displays a dialog box which reads
" Update Edge
We no longer support this version of Edge. Update your Windows version to continue listening or download the Amazon Music desktop application"
It does NOT allow the app to continue past this screen.
