Issues with MusicFab on Youtube Music

A couple of issues I'm experiencing with saving from Youtube Music to .flac files.

1. First track in the list always saves as an M4a, all the rest as flac. I've tried a couple of suggestions from this forum such as starting playing the album before download without success.
2. File names and metadata do not contain track numbers when downloading from Youtube Music. I've tried saving to several different file formats to see if that makes a difference, without success. Tracks definitely have track numbers in the listings on the site.

Anyone else seeing these issues? Anyone had success finding work-arounds?

Dev team - are you aware of these issues? Are they on a list? Do you need more information to replicate?

I think sharing your logfile helps the dev folk. Rename your logfile; then go try the action again. Then note error, and upload the new log file here.

I definitely agree with #1 - and it seems to be every album I choose. I do not see your #2 problem.

YouTube downloader does seem to be problematic for the developers.

Thanks for the information simchris. I've located my logfile location but it doesn't appear that MusicFab is writing anything to the log file. Last updated in Feb 25. I'm looking in the logfile location referred to in settings. I've looked in other logical places where a log file might be created. I can't find any settings to define log level. Any clues for the clueless?
