Tidal downloads hanging indefinitely

Spotify seems to be working, but Tidal downloads never begin. The link quickly analyzes, and then the "downloading" animation shows on the left side bar, but the download never begins, with the "Wait to Download" indication showing. My cue has been sitting for three and a half hours now. I've restarted, cleared cache, logged back in, etc.

I submitted a ticket but haven't heard back yet.

Anyone else seeing this problem?

The same issue with Spotify and Audible has been occurring since July 8, 2025. The issue has been reported multiple times via ticket, but as of today, August 8, 2025, there has been no resolution.

Did you try the reset hack: delete your temp folder, cache folder (I keep mine in single location); relaunch MF, log back in, try again?
This solves stuff for me most of the time unless some technical issue with the cloud solution being used by the music site(s).

The problem has been present since the latest service was added.

This is a re-accruing problem for myself and one of my friends. I clear my normal browsers temp files and MF's, re-login to Tidal fresh, a reset is good but I normally need to clear out all of my temps. It doesn't always work the first time, not sure why but there must be some legacy stuff left even after doing all of that, probably in Local files somewhere, haven't spent the time further to figure it out.

Hope you get working again it's real frustrating having to do this on a recurring basses. Good luck.

Tjy, as so often, the DAU (Dumbest User Imaginable) is right in front of the PC!
There was an audiobook in the queue that suddenly became a purchase. I deleted all the titles, reloaded, and whoosh, it was running like clockwork again. Hooray.
