Opening up a m4v file to create DVD

When I try to open a couple of m4v files to convert to DVD, the program says it encountered a problem and must close. Can anyone help? I am running Windows XP. Although I downloaded the file, it appears as "rental" in ITunes, and the m4v file is located under the directory /itunes/movies.

Is it a title you purchased?

If so, it will be copy protected and Fab can do nothing about it.

PS: Do not double post. You won't get help any quicker.

      Didnt mean to double post.

It is download I got to preview a Academy Award nominee. I am sure it is protected. Is there anyway I can burn as a DVD? Is there someway to unprotect?

DVDFab won['t be able to help you with that. Give this a read: I think we've crossed the line here so I'm going to close the thread.
