    Blu-Ray Creator Only Works In Safe Mode

    Purchased lifetime licence early October 2012.

    The version that was applicable at the time worked fine, but subsequent updates don't.

    Whenever I try to launch it I immediately receive the "DVDFab 8 has encountered a problem and needs to close".

    Message even appears at installation and uninstallation.

    However, program works when PC is in safe mode.

    Have tried with anti virus disabled but still same problem.

    Can anyone offer a remedy?

    Safe mode loads only the bare minimum at boot up for Windows to operate. The obvious thing is there is a driver or service loading in normal mode that is conflicting. Installed any new software or hardware requiring drivers lately?

      Always updating my drivers via Driver Detective.
      Suspected that this could be the case but have no idea how to find which driver might be the problem.
      Saw in another post that someone with sort-of-a-similar problem was told that AMD driver update could be the problem.
      Might try rolling back my AMD drivers to version that was applicable when I bought the DVDFab licence. Other than that I have no idea.
