Crashes with 400+ source files, hangs with 200+

So my mum takes hundreds of videos, hundreds. each about 2-8 seconds long. Oooo look theres a tiger|STOP| Oh how nice the great wall of china | Stop... You get the picture.

i have 400 files that make up 1h 30 minutes of a holiday. How do i burn these to a disc? Currently im almost at the point of digging out a VHS and going old skool.

Also for this use a menu screen is pointless but thats a feature request and not suitable for here.

Any help or a solution?

What is the file format of the files?

Here is the log up to the point the system hangs. always at about the same number of files rather than a specific file.

all are MP4 and from the same video camera. if i try say less than 50 it works fine.

if you want a sample of one just let me know.
