DVD Creator cuts

Hello,

maybe I´m too stupid but if I drag, for example a 7,5 gb .mkv in, to shrink and make a dvd-5, the creator cut the vid.

what do I wrong?

seemed the dvd creator takes the file as long as fit and after DVD is full, he cut

I thought, dvd creator takes the file, shrinks it till fit a DVD5.

something I missed to configure or do I think wrong?
