After I back up a blu ray or dvd into a mkv file, can I take numerous files/movies and make a hard copy on a dvd that would play the disc on a stand alone player?
If I can could someone direct me in the process?
You can use any software that will burn a data DVD for this. You can use ImgBurn in write mode and select and add the mkv files you want. It will let you select more than will fit the target so watch the size. If you have Nero Express it works well for this and keeps track of the compilation size for you.
Keep in mind that playing an mkv from a burned disc Cinavia will mute the audio if present.
