nevermind... setting on my uhd player was doing this.... So here is what i did.
I encoded the original m2ts using x265.exe with my custom encoding settting. (keeping everything bluray compliant)
Then i muxed back the DV layer with the new encoded file + new audio and then built the uhd structure using dvdfab creator.
BD25, it looks amazing, almost lossless:
but it couldnt retain Atmos...

aspect ratio changed after passthrough UHD creator.
Hi, i imported a mkv with an HEVC dolby vision layer (+ the hdr layer) and tried to build an uhd structure in passthrough mode. Dvdfab recognize dolby vision and the iso play fine in my HDR uhd player but not in my dolby vision player. it triggers DV but the black bar become larger. What am i doing wrong?
I made a mkv from my dolby vision uhd disc in order to add external audio. If i encode the file with dvdfab directly from the uhd disc, DV is displayed correctly but thats not what im trying to do. i want to add external audio and subs
**sorry for my english and thank you
how it looks on a DV player playing in dolby vision (black bars are way too large): Philips(BDP7502)
and this is the same iso on an HDR uhd player playing in hdr, aspect ratio is normal: Samsung K8500
