What are the differences in 'Playback mode' ?

I'm looking for an explanation of what the different options in 'Playback mode' means ?
The latest tutorial I could find for DVD/BluRay Creator is for DVDFAB 9, and it mentions 'Playback mode', but not what the different options mean.
