12.0.8.2 Prevents Imgburn Buffer From Activating During ISO File Image Write Process

The new update to DVDFab (12.0.8.2) has affected the ISO file image write process of Imgburn in Blu-ray Creator. All previous versions successfully activate Imgburn's buffer to engage during the image write process when creating an ISO file quickly. Version 12.0.8.2 now prevents Imgburn's buffer from activating. Please can the Developer check and resolve. I have reverted to 12.0.8.1 which works perfectly with Imgburn's buffer activating without issue during the creation of ISO files.

    Thanks, Caleb.

What is the phenomenon during the process?

Blu-ray Creator successfully encodes the MP4 file as an ISO, but when Imgburn is activated to write the file and save it as such, the lower buffer displayed in Imgburn fails to fill and the writing speed instead of being x45+ is now x3-4 times. Uninstalling 12.0.8.2 and reinstalling 12.0.8.1 eliminates this issue - Blu-ray Creator successfully encodes the MP4 file as an ISO, Imgburn activates to complete the writing process with both buffers filling completely. Write speed now x45+.

Screenshot of failure of DVDFab to fill buffer when Imgburn writes ISO file in Blu-ray Creator (log files also uploaded). This has occurred since 12.0.8.2. and persists in 12.0.8.3. Earlier versions are not affected.

As a direct comparison, here is the exact same MP4 file, but processed using 12.0.8.1. You can clearly see the obvious change between the two versions.

The whole feel when using Blu-ray Creator versions 12.0.8.2. and .8.3. is completely different than earlier versions. It responds slower, especially when trying to load backgrounds and thumbnails. It does not feel so stable.

Hope this helps the Developer to troubleshoot and undo the changes implemented in 12.0.8.2. / 12.0.8.3. which have caused these issues.

Appreciate the info october262, but that still does not explain why previous versions of DVDFab, when using Imgburn to write an ISO fills the buffer at 100% and writes the file quick, yet the exact same MP4 and the exact same version of Imgburn in DVDFab version 8.2 and later now no longer do?

              Imgburn hasn't changed.

              The MP4 hasn't changed.

              My hdd hasn't changed.

The (only) thing that has changed (updated) is DVDFab...

You are also overlooking one other point made -The whole feel when using Blu-ray Creator versions 12.0.8.2. and .8.3. is completely different than earlier versions. It responds slower, especially when trying to load backgrounds and thumbnails. It does not feel so stable.
