12.0.8.2 'Failed to create directory' error

While using DVD Creator with either version 12.0.8.1 or 12.0.8.2, each time I try to start the recording, I get this error (see attachment). I first tried a different DVD, and nothing changed. I then went back to Release 11, and it worked normally with no errors. Has anyone else seen this error? This test also told me that the problem is not with my DVD burner, since version 11 worked OK.

Please go to the Common Settings panel to check the Temp Directory and change it to a different directory to have a try.

Thanks once again, Mona -- that was it! It WOULD be hard to write to "0Ñ". I wonder how that got into my Settings.....
