How to customize the thumbnail and background image on dvd creator?

For some reason the blu ray menu i can customize my thumbnail and background image within the creator function, but for the dvd creator I cannot customize the thumbnail and background image when inside a template. How can I do this? Thank you.

It does not support changing the thumbnail but you can customize the background image.

Eh.. So on the blu ray you can customize the thumbnail but not the dvd, weird. Well at least we can do background image, thanks.
