    100% cpu on i7 core

why is my cpu at 100% while encoding a blu ray movie
if I go to task manager it says fabcore.exe 50% and dvdfab.exe 50%
is it meant to be using that much cpu?
its reencoding a bluray but its doing the main movie only

The answer to your question is yes, it does this to speed up the process. Blu-ray movies are much more cpu intensive than dvd.

A CUDA supported NVIDIA card will help with the speed and cpu load.
If you're compressing directly from the original disc, please don't.
This will result in excessive wear and tear on your BD drive and take an inordinate amount of time... neither of which is desirable
