Im trying to get a BD50 and compress it to a BD25. The movie is on my HDD and the movie is the Expendables (46GB). The software is telling me that the full disc ripped on my HDD to a 25 GB BD-R is going to take around 9-10 hours. Does that sound correct to anyone else? My A/V codec is set to Software+ CUDA for encoder.

Without knowing your system specs, there's no way to say for sure, but 9-10 hours sounds more than excessive.
You've got the right idea by not trying to compress from a BD disc, but rather from the hdd files
I have a pretty average system and I'd be looking at 30-60 minutes to do this.
Firstly, I'd trry setting both Video Decoder and Video Encoder to software as follows:
Could you post your os, cpu and video card ?If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Hi vgyliu,
You have a decent video card (Nvidia GTX 470), DVDFab should set both decoder and encoder to CUDA, and it should be very fast.
Please make sure you have installed latest driver for your video card.DVDFab is the all-in-one software package for copying Blu-ray/DVD and converting video file.
