Unable to watch copied Blu Ray

OK, so it appears that I am Blu Ray copying challenged. I am running version 8.0.5.0 and I have tried copying two different Blu Ray's (The Sorcerer's Apprentice & Killers) and neither of the copied Blu Ray's is viewable in my Computer's Blu Ray player. Here is what I do:

Copy the Blu Ray to my HDD as an *.iso ... I have tried full copy and movie only ... and compress it down to fit on a BD25.

Then, I burn the copy onto a BD25 using Image burn.

Everything seems to go OK, but then when I put it in the computer's Blu Ray player, it says there is no disk or, in one case, it will start for about 2 seconds and then the player locks up.

I am using Verbatim Blu Ray's.

Side note .... I can use the Blu Ray to DVD option and that works perfectly. No problems at all.

Please try the following to see the problem can be solved or not:

1. Update your current software player or use other software players, like PowerDVD, to play it;

2. Play the copied disc on your standalone BD player to see if you can play it;

3. You also can try using a different brand/format media to burn again to see the result, if your BD writer supports.

Slow your write speed to half of what ImgBurn reports is available (4x). Click the link in my sig and read the post, watch the youtube video on how to configure ImgBurn and set the AWS (automatic write speed) per blank media ID.

Never seen this error before, someone else may have an idea?
