What you should do is go into common settings of DVDFab and select A/V Codec to change all available options to software. Then you should download and install ImgBurn if you not already and configure it to work with DVDFab. Here is link on how to get DVDFab and ImgBurn to work together. Watch the youtube video Also do not forget to set the AWS(automatic write speed) for ImgBurn

I have the same issues with 8.0.5.0.. Blu-ray copy.
A BD-50 to BD-25 copy that doesn't require re-encoding with Shrek 4 (main stream is 18gb luckily) works fine on the PS3. The way I read this, is that all the structures and everything are fine, and the burning engine (imgburn) is fine, the BDR blu-ray media (verbatim) is fine. The re-encoding engine has not been tested here.
A BD-50 to BD-25 copy of Ironman2 requires re-encoding (main stream is 30gb) (done with cuda), and the resulting disk does not work on PS3. Disc begins to load, PS3 tries to start it, then it comes up with an error "This is an invalid disc (80029906)". Any google search for that error comes up with a thousand pages listing dead drives. My drive isn't dead, I assure you. Every other DVD, DVD-rip and Blu-ray (and one other Blu-ray rip-- above) plays fine.
These same discs (I've tried this process 5 times) play fine on my PC with powerdvd (bluray version), but just not in the PS3. I have tried VSO direct burn, VSO iso image, IMGBurn direct burn and IMGburn ISO (burnt both with imgburn and Nero10). I've also grabbed the stream data, and injected that into a Nero10 BD-video image, and that fails the same way... pointing to a stream encoding problem.
I have not yet tried turning off cuda encoding/decoding. That is my next task. I have also tried direct ripping from bdrom disc, and ripping from hdd (with bdrom content copied to hdd).
However, something seems dicky with the re-encoding/transcoding engine for m2ts > m2ts streams (at least the cuda one, still testing the software one). The PS3 certainly doesn't like it at all.
best regards.

If you want specific help with your situation then you would want to start a new thread and provide information as described in the "Help Us Help You" sticky thread.

I can and will, but there is *no* mention of anything done with the Bluray-copy app and M2TS H264 transcoding in the 8.0.5.6 application update notes, nor 8.0.5.5 (a "freeze problem" fixed in 8.0.5.5, but no freezes experienced here).
I could've not posted all this info.. but I figured it could be helpful to both users and developers should it not be fixed in 8.0.5.6.
I do intend to try 8.0.5.6, because I now know that SOFTWARE decoding and Encoding is also not working to produce a Blu-ray video disc that plays in the PS3 in 8.0.5.0. So the issue is not restricted to CUDA in 8.0.5.0.
I don't think my situation here is any more specific than the OP's. In fact, I think it might be the same. Hence I thought no need to open another thread.
Thanks for the info though.
best regards.

FYI: People that have been hacking their PS3s have been experiencing issues with BD playback on them, mainly the new PSGrade payload that downgrades your firmware to allow you to run the PSGroove exploit. So if you have hacked your PS3, that could be a reason why it's not playing BDs.SPECS

I use Optical Quantums(from Newegg), the Shiny Silver ones. Never had an issue, so I don't think that would be your problem unless you got a bad batch.SPECS
