Need to Burn HD Video Files to DVD

Was able to copy files using ImgBurn however I am only able to play back on my computer. Neither my regular dvd player or blu-ray player will play the files. In fact my blu-ray player doesn't see the files at all.

Maybe someone could help me with that.
