    Playback Issues

I am having what I hope is a common problem, but can't find a thread on it.

I can successfully rip Blu Ray to ISO, but when playing back I have two problems that seem to be present in every rip: 1) the video looks like every other frame has been deleted, almost like the CPU is too busy; 2) the audio is often slightly off (less than a second).

Also, is the option to convert to AVI an add on cost, or should it work if I have the Blu Ray module? I see the option in Blu Ray Ripper but it seems to want to rip to MKS.

DVDFab Blu-ray Ripper is an additional cost and not included with DVDFab Blu-ray Copy

What software player are you using for playback?
Are you compressing on the initial rip from BD disc to hdd (.ISO)?
If yes, please do not do this.

Please try Media Player Classic for playback.
As MPC will not open .ISO files
      recommend 1 of 2 things:

      Either mount the .ISO with

(it is still available as freeware)
      and playback with MPC

      or

Rip a BD disc in file mode, not .ISO and playback with MPC.

      Are your problems reproduced?

I have no issues at all with playback of BD files (multiple formats incuding .ISO) with either method above or via my Argosy media player.

      Anything useful in your logs?

      The default location is:

      For Win7
      C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
      or for XP
      C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
