Same here. I can't get A Christmas Carol 2D BD to work properly w/latest version of Fab. It rips and encodes to BD25 just fine, but refuses to play on my PC (Pioneer BDR205 & PowerDVD) or my PS3(no hack & latest update). The PS3 shows the icon and says A Christmas Carol, starts to boot but then nothing...just a blank black screen. I burn both an ISO version and BDMV/Certificate...no go

Not to be a 'trader' but I also use BD Rebuilder and the final output for this particular movie came out to 25.4gb both times on encode. I've never had a single problem with DVDFab or BD Rebuilder. Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Go to A/V Codec in common settings of DVDFab and change all choices to Software to see if that helps

Thanks for the reply. I actually just noticed those A/V settings. I'm going to give this movie one last shot. *crosses fingers*

I've been encoding to output of BDMV/Certificate with both DVDFab & xxxx with no problems on any movies. Is there any negatives to encoding & burning to ISO? Is it something like back in the day when it was recommended to build your file structure as VIDEO_TS & AUDIO_TS on DVDRs for better compatibility with older players?

Hopefully someone who has copied this movie successfully can chime in, cause I'm at a loss. You're trying to do a full backup BD50 and I'm trying to do a BD25 and neither of us can get this movie to work. I've seen people say they've done a movie only copy but obviously not what we're looking for....

Ok I finally got this movie to copy to a BD25. Now, I can't say if this was the reason or not, but I installed Java. It must've slipped my mind to install it when I built this PC a couple of weeks ago
I'm also wondering how I was able to do a bunch of BDR's without it? I thought it was mandatory?
Anyways, I also used xxxx not FAB(sorry). I changed these settings in that prog this time around.
                      1. Do Not convert DTS to AC3
                      2. Do Not reencode AC3
                      3. Keep HD Audio for BD25 encoding

Problem is, I can't say whether it was java or these settings that allowed me to back up this movie. Just thought I'd share my findings.

                        yeahhhh !
i find a solution for disney blu ray...
its work with main movie, you have just a big m2ts file (the movie) to burn.it will play without problem on standalone player (on my sony it's ok)
When you do clone copy , there is lots of m2ts .
                        maybe it's the problem
i think european version of this br is not working now with dvdfab.
                        will

"Christmas Carol" Blu-ray "Full Disc" backup has playback problem on PS3. We are waiting for the disc, and will work on it very soon, please wait, thanks.

For now, you can use "Main Movie" to backup it.

Cool. I'm sure it won't be difficult to fix, considering I did a 'full backup' with the "other" program
