    Hi 0brian

Please Open Fab click the Click the Green at top right corner of the DVDFab screen, and open Common Settings > General >A/V Codec, set Video Decoder to Software and set Video Encoder to Software restart Fab and try again.

Also I suggest installing ImgBurn you will find it here along with a tutorial on setting it up with Fab
remember to set up the AWS in ImgBurn, and your burn speed to 1/2 the rated speed for DVD's and I would suggest no higher than 4x for Blu-Rays.
    Hope this helps

Even if it's a little thing, do something for those who have need of help, something for which you get no pay but the privilege of doing it.

Was wondering what does it change when i use video decoder to software and video encoder to software. Was wondering what these changes are from using dvxa video decoder.

DXVA does not work and may cause problems with your back up you make if not work correctly so that why it good to try Software. DXVA supposed to speed up the copy process but does not

Thanks for reply. I have had alot of success using dxva on backing up many movies. I will start using the software as decoder and encoder and see if that improves things. I think the fast forwarding and rewinding have nothing to do with this though. Dvdfab did say there was an issue with the fast forwarding and rewinding before and was suppose to be fixed in earlier version. It does seem to work on some movies and not on others. It only happens when compressing the movie to fit on bdr-25. Now i am only backing up the main movie. I don't know if you backup entire movie if you would still have this problem. I usually only backup the main movie to get best quality without compressing so much. If you don't have to compress the movie it fast forwards and rewinds with no problem.
