Is this the version of avatar that is gen9?

@fengtao: in your list of bd+ gens (sticky) you dont mention gen9...what did the protectors do in gen9 or do we not know yet? thx

don't copy that way... with 3d movies you need to

      1) make a clone (drop iso to hdd) when complete close up dvdfab
      2) open imgburn (it's free) and burn the iso (make sure to setup your disc speeds)

This method makes flawless 3d backups.

Yes, for Blu-ray 3D disc, you need use "Clone" to make a backup.

I can confirm that. I have the same issue with avatar 2d. same 88888.jar fails. However if clone works fine, that is if you want to use BDR DL.

Geez, those 50GB BD-R DL discs make for some pretty expensive coasters.

I can back up the main movie successfully, just not the full disc (Avatar 2D).

NEVER burn direct to disc w/ a 50gb bd-r DL unless your crazy! Burn to iso on HDD, then you can even mount the iso to verify the burn (dvdfab virtual drive) then burn on the 50gb disc. At $5~6 a disc take the extra steps

Simply amazing that two of the posts about coasters is so unhelpful. I tried to copy the full Avatar disk from a Pio BDR-206 (dirve F to a 2TB hard drive without compressing it down to 25GB (ie. 50GB). There were no coasters produced with this step.

I would rather put the wear and tear of the compression on my hard drive than working the blu-ray drive over. Yes this means an extra step to compress the 50GB movie but I never got that far due to the failure.

I must say that [program] could rip the full disc to the HD and BD-Rebuilder handled the full disk compression to 25GB without the failure experienced with DVDfab blu-ray copy. Imageburn was also able to burn the compressed file to a 25GB disc and it play very well in my Pio bdp-320.

I would very much like to buy and continue using DVDfab Blu-ray copy since it is an all in one software package. If DVDfab can't make a backup of Avatar 2D using the full disc copy then I guess it's time to use the freebies along with anydvdhd (I already have a lifetime anydvdhd license) to rip the disc.

More and more discs are failing with the same file! 88888.jar. I suggest to rename the topic to "Full disc bluray copy failed with error 102 on file 88888.jar"
Among the ones i've tried :
                      Avatar 2D
                      Avatar 3D
                      Coraline Collectors edition

It's a bug of DVDFab v8066, please try DVDFab v8067 to see the result:

                        Sorry for that.
