    Problem with reading

Tried to back up yesterdays blue ray releases. Used all of the settings that worked well last week. Program starts fine.
Starts to read content and after a few seconds the read speed drops to almost nothing. It would take 24 hours to back up a disk.
Rolled back to earlier version, watched the disk on an independent player still the samr problem.

Read further... Copied to HD uncompressed. Burning to single layer blu ray disc. This requires some compression. Looks like 11 hours to complete task. What have I missed.

The time it takes to compress (re-encode) a movie depends on what settings you selected, and what hardware your computer has in it.

First and foremost, follow what the previous responder said and update to the newest version of DVDFab, 8.0.6.8.

Please respond with what settings you selected (ex. Main Movie / Full Disc / Clone) and also what your computer is running (ex. Intel i5, 4GB RAM, etc.)

Using Main Movie to reduce size. Movie was 84% when single level disk used. Computer is a Intel P4 with 4gbs of memory.
Doesn't look like compressing any Blu Ray is worthwhile.
Next time I'll send it to a portable drive or buy dual level disks.
I'm just starting to try Blu Ray backups. Thanks.
