    Some basic help

I'm trying to copy my first bluray. I have selected the main movie to copy. I played the little preview window in the bottom left corner. Other than its very choppy and the audio is screeching at me(is that normal for a preview) it starts at the beginning of the movie and no director commentary. When its done copying I play the movie and it starts with all the previews and has the directors commentary. Why does the preview not have these things but the copy ed move does? How do I get rid of them?

im having the same problem as well with the newer version.. preview window no commentary... when done copying commentary... is there something im missing with the new version?? never happened before.. edit... after a little trial and error the new version was selecting an audio track that was the second english audio track on the blu-ray bot the first track... make sure the first english track is selected and you should be good 68..

I always make sure that ONLY the FIRST English audio title is checked off and highlighted and you'll never that directors audio problem again........... that is unless you want a different. language ....

I had two audio tracks selected so I bet that was is. I'm still having the choppy video and sound in the preview window though. The movie is the Expendables.

            The Expendables and DTS 7.1

Has anyone been able to backup The Expendables? This is the most problematic Blu-Ray disc I have come across to date. The end result is coasters that freeze from the start.

Also, the sound is troublesome since it is DTS 7.1. Even after I choose the remove HD option, it comes out garbled.

I listen to movies through headphones and the sound I got from the actual BD copy I bought is atrocious, which is why I wanted to back it up and remove the HD sound. No such luck yet.

I'm debating whether to splurge for a receiver that features DTS 7.1. Has anyone encountered this situation? If so, how were you able to fix it.

            Thanks,

I'm going to trade some blu-rays with a friend, who has The Expendables. I will let you know how it works out for me. I have a Sony BD-VE300 blu-ray home theater system with 5.1 surround. I'll let you know how well it turns and if I get garbled audio. Thanks for posting this news, if we discover it doesn't work we can report it to an admin.

What is the problem? You are jumping to the conclusion that I meant borrow. I literally meant trade. My friend hates The Expendables and I merely traded him another blu-ray (Avatar) that I did not like. We both won, and are both the new owners of pre-owned blu-rays.

I'm having the same problem. None of the suggested solutions work. Have found one? If so please let me know. It's very frustrating.
