Reading error

Hi, I was trying to make a copy of a blu-ray that I had already backed up to a blu-ray disk and when the disk try to load a window opens and says;

Reading/Writing Error Control

Error while reading! Please choose what to do?

Now I've had this problem with another movie so I tried a different and there were no issues the movies I'm trying to backup are Last house on the left and Terminator Salvation. There both duplicates that I've already did. Thanks for any help..

Please check if disk is scratchfree and all files can be read (ImgBurn Verify Mode).

how do i do the imgburn verify mode? Sorry

You start ImgBurn (3rd party software) -> Verify Disc -> Select source drive and uncheck "Verify Against Image File" -> Press the button with the disc at left bottom corner.

It checks the disks for read errors. If it finds them, bad disk. Already had once Fab reported read error while there was only a bug in Fab and disk was fine.
If ImgBurn doesn't find any read error, please try latest DVDFab 8.0.6.8.

if the disk was bad would it still play in my blu-ray player? I checked to see if it worked and it's fine, same with the last house on the left.

It can play fine even when disk is bad.
Copy software is doing sector to sector of disk, this means complete disk.
Playing only plays necessary parts.

You are welcome. We just had to confirm there is no error with the disk itself.
E. g. Disney is producing a lot bad disks (when checking sectors).
