    VSO burning engine

8072 suggests VSO burning engine for a protected disk, but the last version that included VSO was 8056.
is this the version we should use, or is there a newer one.
the vso site doesn't show a free burning engine...

what version of IMGBURN is acceptable for the protected disk?

    thanks

DVDFab always includes VSO burn engine with the install. Just make sure you have it selected to install or it not be installed.

That's because VSO isn't free and it is included as AGJ said. Fengtao purchased a license to include it with DVDFab, VSO burn engine is a .dll based program installed in the windows system and isn't in a gui based package.
Not sure if Fab will allow ImgBurn to be selected for protected disc yet but if it does that would be my 1st choice.

            8070 changelog:
VSO burning engine can be used for now, and ImgBurn when the new version is out.
I've not tested 8072 yet but try it with ImgBurn 2550 and report any problems if you have any.

Both 8070 and 8072 work with ImgBurn 2550. It's just that ImgBurn 2550 was launched shortly after DvdFab 8070, hence the message in changelog.
