    Blu-Ray copy Main Movie

    I'm new at this. I'm trying the DVDFab Blu-ray Copy - Main Movie. It'sben processng for over 2 hours & says it still has 6 hours to go. Is this normal? I'm
    trying to make copies of my kid movies for my grandkids as they seem to always ruin one every now & then when they come over. Any help would be greatful. GOD bless. Roger

    Hi Roger,

    Without details, this is a total stab in the dark.
    That being said, 6 hours could be normal for an older system, but it's not normal for anyone with fairly up to date hardware.

    To put it in perspective, on average, ripping a BD main movie takes me about 30-45 minutes.
    My rig is nothing fancy and was tinkered together
    by me over a year ago now.

    First off, if you're compressing on the initial rip (from the BD disc), DON'T.
    This will take forever (relatively) and cause unnecessary wear and tear on your BD drive.
    Rip the main movie to your hdd without any compression.

    You may have to change your A/V settings, but we'll need some iinfo

    Please post back with relevant details.
    The logs are generally very useful.

    The default location is:

    For Win7
    C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
    or for XP
    C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log

          You are running AnyDvd while Fab is running!! You dont need to run anything but Fab trust me! Make sure you use ImgBurn to burn the disc!
