I had the same issue before, the program seems to just stop.
What I do now is break the compression into a few steps.
First make a full 50GB iso under full disc. Then I compress the 50GB iso into an 25GB iso under full disc. And then I burn to a blank bluray disc if i want to.

The problem usually comes during the compression step (step 2). Try unchecking Lightening encoding under "Bluray" in common settings. See if that works.

        Hi gld3719

Put the movie in your DVD player and as the movie is playing take note of what Title# it is, when you open Fab and it analyzes the disc make sure it is the same Title# that was playing as before and chose that number.

            Help Us Help You

If you are posting about an operational problem with one of the DVDFab products, you will improve the speed and accuracy of the response by providing some information in the very first post that will probably be needed.

First, make note of any error codes or messages that appear in popup boxes and put them in your post. Information on error codes that appear in the DVDFab UI are captured in one of the logs we request below.

DVDFab keeps logs of its activities that supply basic system information and can help pinpoint where and when an error happened and help pinpoint the cause. The default location for these logs on most Windows systems is:

            C:\Documents and Settings\your username\My Documents\DVDFab\Log

The logs are simple text files that can be opened with Windows Notepad. If the size exceeds the forum’s attachment size limit, you may need to delete older entries or copy and paste the relevant ones into a new file.

dvdfab_internal.log Attach for all problems. Time stamped, most recent at the bottom. Please edit to include only the most recent or relevant log session.

dvdfab_burn_vso.log Attach for all problems. The entries are time stamped with the most recent at the top.

dvdfab_burn_imgburn.log Attach if you have ImgBurn set as the burning engine and the problem concerns disc burning. Time stamped with the most recent at the bottom.

dvdfab_process.log Attach if DVDFab crashes and the crash report window does not come up or complete correctly or if internal error codes appear in the DVDFab window (“Task Failed…”). Time stamped, most recent at the bottom.

            Other Information:

Depending on the nature of the problem, it can help to know:
If this happens with all discs or just one
            Your operating system/CPU/memory configuration
If you are using external hard drives or optical drives
If you have made any recent changes to your OS or system hardware
If you have other DVD or BD software installed, particularly if recently added.

Posts with all the requested information will be answered first.

You are saying the program freezes at burning 22.8%? Burning or copying?? Either way to get to 22.8% Fab has done a 100 things already which are in your log! So please do like AGJ said (if you check his posts he might no a bit!) And post what ever is in your logs!! I know its a bit frustrating!! And a suggestion would be to get some BDRE so you don't produce expensive coasters!!

Yes DiabloZoe is correct as everytime you start DVDFab it stores an Internal log file. As well everytime you use DVDFab and it starts the burn process whether it uses VSO or ImgBurn it will save burn log until next DVD/Blu-ray is started but Internal logs are all saved until you manually delete them

k, after the second time the program froze, and become unworkable every time i tried to start the program a box came up, the one that ask you to search problem from website or just close.. so i unistalled the program and i couldnt reinstall it that box kept poping up, so i went to the reg and deleted all dvdfab folders, then i was able to install again, so the problem was the program itself somehow became corrupted. i would have posted earlyer but i was sick.. burning unstoppable was no problem..

Part 2, before unistalling the program all i could find was the previous movies that i copied so it could've been due to the corrupted program (dvdfab) and after the program was finally installed and unstoppable was copied, i went to the log file area and seen unstoppable log file..

now would it be a good idea to delete the log files after every burn...

No you don't ever have to delete the log files!! If you open Fab and shut it down it will be on the log the amount of time Fab was open!! Its good just to leave them alone and if you have problems you are able to go back and reference them!!
