Are you selecting the right audio track for some reason Fab auto selects the AC3 track. You need to select the DTSHD track which is usually at the top of the audio menu? Also make sure you are selecting the right angle also!! When the disc is done analyzing you can preview it in the window to make sure you have all the right options! I see some funny things with the log you posted, why your source opened up twice 1 with chapters 15 -15 and 1 with 1-17? I looked through my logs and have not encountered that!! But the senior members will get you squared away on that!!

What are you using to play your back up on? Have you tried saving to computer instead of burning and use a softplayer like TotalMediaTheatre5 or PowerDVD to play it back to see if you get sound as well?

I always save to the computer first and I play with VLC media player or Power DVD! I get sound when I play with VLC but not with Power DVD or if I burn it to a BD-R

You sure you have the PowerDVD that can play back DTS HD sound? That costs extra if I remember correctly

That will have to be a question for another forum member to answer as I not burn Blu-ray to blank media.

We will have to go through the steps you are using but burning the movie with DTS audio should give you what you want!!

Similar problem here, of the last six "Blu-ray to m2ts" rips two didn't have playable audio. Could be that this happens if the selected audio stream is not the first.

This happened to me a couple of times before. I had to use the sound/audio button on my dvd player remote to select the dts audio, even though there was only one audio on the disc. I think it tried to find ac3 audio, and didn't default to Dts when it couldn't find ac3. That has only happened a couple of times.

I load DVDfab then I insert the bluray that I want to back up into the drive (Pioneer BD-RW BDR-203 SCSI) after DVDfab loads and analyze the disk I select main movie from the ble-ray copy option. I select the title that i want to back up, I select the Audio (English DTS-HD) then the compression size I have selected both BD50 & BD25. Is there a certain way I need to have my common settings?

After its done anaylyzing have you tried watching the preview in the window on Fab? Which movie are you having problems with? Also under AV Codecs try setting to software!
