    Direct Backup

    I just got a second blu-ray burner and my question is this: Assuming that no compression is needed, which function and settings should I use to backup and burn directly from disc to disc? I would like to be able to do this so I can clean up some hard drive space by erasing some of my previous compressed and burned movies.

    just select 2nd blu ray drive with a blank disk inside as target
    Windows 7 64bit ultimate
    CPU: i7 4770K @4.5 vcore@1.28v temps 27c/67c

      Hi jimp124,

      You can follow the steps as follows, we use "Full Disc" mode as the example:

      1) Insert the bd movie into your blu-ray drive, after analyze, choose "Full Disc" option on start screen, choose the target as your another Blu-ray burner.

      2) set the Output Size as BD50 in the lower area, choose BD25, DVDFab will compress the material to make it fit one BD25 disc;
      Choose BD50, DVDFab will make a copy with no compression and burn to double/dual layer blank BD50 disc.

      3) Start the burning process to get your direct Backup.

      Since you wanna keep your hard drive free space, please go to "Common Settings/General", tick "delete temporary files when done ". You won't get temporary files left in your hard drive after the burning process finished.

      Hope this helps.
