slow copy speed

Hi all, just a couple of questions to pick your brains?.
Can make b/ups no problem read speed normally 6-8 mb/s with most movies.
Trying Prince of persia ( sands of time )
takes for ever to read the disc initially, and when it says it is done i select main movie only it copys to my HD at a speed of 1.40-1.70 mb/s
Any clues to why it is so slow for this movie.

Are you compressing? What exactly are you doing can you post the log for this burn? When I backup a movie I only do movie only and no compression I almost always get 12-15mb a sec and most of the movies I have done take about 30-40 min

slow copy speeds

Here is the logs from the disc i was have trouble with.
As you can tell i tryed several times with the disc, but in the end it started to speed up on its own.
if you can make head or tails from this and post some sort of help it would be much appreciated.

I have found out why my copy speeds are only 6 mb/s. I have been using my internal drive ( lap top ) once i connected my external burner i am getting 22-24 mb/s. Great speeds.
