the losers protected disc

I am having trouble with playback of the protected disc on my PS3. i am getting an error that its unreadable. i made 2 copies with no luck. same error on both.

Also, could you tell us the brand of the blanks? Thanks

Normally, bad discs are created when the reading process is not perfect; ie. there is a sector or a couple of them that don't read correctly, leading to incorrect decryption and incorrect re-encryption. Protected discs are more *sensitive* to reading errors.

I would suggest you to try with a BD-RE first and see how that goes. If you look in the log you'll see a warning there: it's the Pioneer drives that have some weird state sometimes and refuse to work properly. In my opinion it's bad implementation of the standard on Pioneer's behalf because it refuses a command that should be accepted according to aacs standard. Anyway, that's tech talk. I'll contact Fengtao to try to find a way to fail-proof better the process of making protected backups.

You were suggested to update to latest version simply because in the logs it was 8083, which is older than current 8085official/8088beta. I noticed it but I assumed that you made the discs when only 8083 was available.

So, please update to latest and try with a BD-RE.

Also I think this was brought up and they added a fix for the Losers check the official updates and the beta logs one of them has the information! Also which PS3 do you have newer or older? Picking up some BDRE is the best advice.
