Sopranos Season 1 (all discs) stuck at 0010.m2ts

I've been able to backup a number of episodic bluray discs with no issues (only issue I've ever had was with CUDA support, so that's been turned off). For some reason, all of the Sopranos Season 1 discs get stuck while trying to compress their respective 0010.m2ts files. I've tried directly from the disc and I've tried from rips (both ISO and directory based). They all have the exact same result. The compression mb/s starts slowly going down until it disappears and then it just seemingly hangs. I left it going for 24 hours once and nothing ever happened. I've tried other discs after running into this issue and they haven't had an issue. I was originally using version 8.0.8.5, but upgraded to 8.0.9.2 QT to find the same result. I've included some logs below, probably not from the same attempt, but there have been no differences in any of the discs. They all fail on the same named m2ts file. If there is anything else I can supply, please let me know. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit, 4 gigs of ram and an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 @ 2.83 GHz.

    Hi stazna01
First please do not mention other software in your posts, this is a DVD Fab forum.
Please do not compress from your drive
Use the DVD Fab Blu-Ray Copy function
First save it to your HDD as BD50 without compression.
Then open the hard drive folder and use "Movie Only" mode select BD25 to compress to another folder on your hard drive.
Use the "Write Data" mode of Fab to open this COMPRESSED folder and burn to a disk.
Doing it this way saves wear and tear on your optical drive and is also faster.

EDIT: You may also try setting all options to Software to do this
Please Open Fab click the Click the Green at top right corner of the DVDFab screen, and open Common Settings > General >A/V Codec, set Video Decoder to Software and set Video Encoder to Software restart Fab and try again.
And also you may try turning off Lightning-Recoding on the same page as A/V codec settings

Thanks for the reply. My apologies about mentioning other software. I'm a little confused why I should try "Movie Only" mode for a TV disc that has episodic content. I would like to do the Full Disc mode.

I already have all of my Video decoder/encoder settings set to software, and I've tried with and without Lightning-Recoding. Either way DVDFab stalls out on 00010.m2ts for all of the discs. I'll try ripping the disc to hard drive from DVDFab and not the other software tonight and report if anything changes.

my friend CBR929 suggested to use "Movie Only" mode to cut off the irrelevant content, i.g. commercials, warnings, etc. Besides the fact that use of this mode will give you more space (less compression, higher quality), it also will go around 00010.m2ts file because it seems not part of the targeted content. To verify that, please play that file separately and see what's in it.
Otherwise, it appears that said file is either corrupted, or disc have scratch or dirt, or mispress over that area.

I apologize for the delay in response, but I wanted to borrow a friend's Sopranos disc to make sure it wasn't an issue with my disc. I have now tested two Sopranos season 1 disc 1 discs, ripping from DVDFab and from another program, and in all cases, DVDFab cannot reencode the 00010.m2ts file and gets stuck when it hits that file. I have tested the rest of my season 1 discs (except disc 5 that doesn't need recompression since it's less than 25 gigs) and they all have the same issue. It seems DVDFab cannot handle the Sopranos for some reason. I did check the file in question and ironically it's the copyright message (it plays fine on my computer). I do not want to do Movie Only mode as I want the menus. Again, this is not an single disc issue as it happens to all of my Sopranos season 1 discs and now has been confirmed on a friend's disc as well. I have had no issues with any other discs.

Then I'm afraid that's just a limitation with this particular software on that specific copyright message and you have no other option but to use Movie Only with DVDFab unless they determine it is a legitimate issue that needs fixing in a future update.
