    Hi all.

    I recently purchased DVDFab All-In-One and a Pioneer BDR-206 blu-ray burner.

The software rips the blu-rays from my collection just fine, but when I attempt to put in a blank blu-ray disc (Verbatim BD-R LTH Type) to burn a copy, it never recognizes the blank disc. The message stating to put in the blank disc never goes away. I always have to use task manager to close the program down.

I then restart the program and I can manually point it to the temp folder where it ripped the blu-ray data and then I can burn to the disc (it detects the blank discs using this method for some reason). The discs then play fine in my blu-ray player on my entertainment system.

Any thoughts why it won't detect the discs right after the initial rip? (Also, I did perform a firmware update on my new burner...before I did that, it would NOT burn to discs by manually pointing to the data in the temp folder.)

    Thanks for any info!

First off, I suspect VSO (Fab's default burn engine).
It is known to be buggy for many users, although many others have no problem...go figure.

In any case, recommend that you switch to Imgburn; much more reliable and more configurable.
Setup is pretty straightforward and although the video tutorial is no longer available, click on the link (below in my sig) for a download link and some pointers.
It's worth the few minutes it takes to setup AWS (Automatic Write Speed)

    Hopefully, this will do it.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
