neither of these can be opened with the latest version of fab... is there a new kind of protection on these??? they are best buy exclusive's released yesterday thanks..

With out log files it will be hard to trouble shoot, but you may try to disable Pathplayer even though it is now suppose to auto disable on older films to do this:
Open Fab Click the Green √ top right > Protection > Path Player click Disable Path Player click OK restart Fab and try again, just remember to set it back to Always Enabled.For Win7 C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
If you are still having problems please post your logs the default location is:
or Vista C:\Users\User Name\Documents\DVDFab\Log
or for XP C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log

I am not sure what 0m 08.09s: newer disc 20110128 expire 20000101 means never seen it before.
A few things you should do is update your OS your not running the latest service packs from Micro$ost which may be causing you problems and also your drive has a firmware update you will find it here
NOTE: If you do not know how to flash your drive do not do it, it will render your drive useless.
Give this a try an post back.

fyi these are the only 2 discs i have ever had a problem with.. ive cloned 3d blu-ray's compressed mulitple others... ill update my drive but as far as downloading updates from microsoft i have never had anything but problems trying to install updates from windows for my os.. and i see no need to install the updates as my system runs fine...Comment

Having issues with my Back to School as well...just updated to the newest version and have had the same results with both 8.0.9.0 and 8.0.9.2. Program tries to read/open for about 5 minutes then completely crashes.

glad im not the only one exp problems with these discs... somethin is up because these were just released at best-buy as an exclusive on may 29th if you figure it out can u post??? thanks.. also fyi.. there is a symbol on these discs that say this disc is copy protected with a picture with a circle and a line what looks like a disc.. and the fbi warning is printed on the disc.. just looked at a few others i have including brand new american graffitti which was released today and it does not have that on original disc just ususally it's on the outside cover...Originally posted by woecarlson View PostLast edited by scottyb25; 05-31-2011, 11:32 PM.Comment
