    Ok,
The latest Beta fixed the "no media detected" issue, but after the disc was burned, it would not play in my PS3? I received an error after trying to play it.

The PS3 listed an error code after selecting the BD-R under Movies in the XMB. Should I post the actual error code on here?

        Also, the other log

              Hi bigbwb
Unless I am missing something this file 1m 34.46s: SourceSize: 29217 MB will not fit on a 25GB disc, you will need to compress this file down using the BD-25 option, and then burn to disc.

Hey CBR I think he writing to a BD50

                1m 34.46s: OutputTarget: BD50
The error I think is the media, I had some issues on my buddy's PS3 with these disc's. Switched to TDK and never had an issue. It seems the PS3's are picky and even other burns have been ok the Ritek are not real reliable. Also if this is being played on a PS3 this movie is Cinavia protected so his output would have to be a BD50

I believe I removed the HD audio so that it would fit onto a 25GB BD? Will Fab tell me if the file is still too big? Yes, its a cinavia protected disc, so am I not able to compress it down to fit onto a 25GB disc? All I want is a copy of the Socail network Should I consider other media then besides Ritek?

                  Thanks,

As the per the post above your output is to a BD50 which means you are writing to a 50GB disc with no compression that is if you are doing the entire movie. You should not have any problems backing up this Cinavia movie. But I think your issue might be that you need a 50GB disc and inserted a 25GB disc. Make output BD25. There were issues with reporting the true file size with this movie way back when. I backed it up and it said it was 13.8GB when its something like 22GB movie only!

I'm a bit confused which is no surprise!! We have the No media detected issue solved? Now you are having an entirely new problem the PS3 not playing your burned disc? Not sure if you want to start another thread as there are a bunch with issues pertaining to this movie. If you get a chance pick up a BDRE like TDK or Verbatim and give it a try to rule out your brand of media and coasters. Then we can see if its a Cinavia issue.

                          media not detected

I have been having this problem, intermittently, since i upgraded to QT.

i am using the same dvd's that i have used for the last year or 2 (verbatim dl +r & taiyo uden). the transition from dvdfab to imgburn always went smoothly before. but after the upgrade to QT, now i get the pop up showing that imgburn is trying to detect media, but sometimes it never sees it. i have let it keep looking for an hour, but it never finds it.

this only happens occassionally with SL, but almost always with dl.

i have to hit cntrl alt del to end the search, because cancel doesn't work.
                          then both programs close.

but if i go into imgburn alone, it burns the tso file fine.

i read the thread about someone else having this problem, and it said at the end the the problem was solved, but i didn't see what was done to solve it.

                          a little help please.

this only happens occassionally with SL, but almost always with dl.

i have to hit cntrl alt del to end the search, because cancel doesn't work.
                            then both programs close.

but if i go into imgburn alone, it burns the tso file fine.

Which version are you using? The OP said the latest ver fixed his issue! With no media detected

                              Hi DiabloZoe
I understand what the other person was doing, if you looked at post #31 it shows that he is trying to burn to a 25GB disc, the BD50 is the option they chose to rip to the HDD.

                              And as they stated after
                              I use Ritek Ridata 25GB
I believe I removed the HD audio so that it would fit onto a 25GB BD
You are still doing good DiabloZoe

Yes, I think media detection problem was fixed in v8095 beta, although we are not sure so it's not mentioned in changelog.
