I understand what the other person was doing, if you looked at post #31 it shows that he is trying to burn to a 25GB disc, the BD50 is the option they chose to rip to the HDD.

    And as they stated after

You are still doing good DiabloZoe

Lol I think the info the OP posted is mixed up? You can't output to the HDD when burning a cinavia protected disc, leaving BD50 and selecting movie only you will not get any compression when, ImgBurn starts up the media expected would be BD50. Maybe giving the media error? I dunno. But thanks for the +1!

      Ok Guys,
I know I am following the correct directions on how to create a Cinavia protected backup disc of Social Network(I know because I used the same 25GB Ritek media and made copies of "The Losers" and "Takers" both of which worked just fine). I tried it again making sure I selected 25GB output using Main movie BD copy. The disc was recognized and burned just fine. Upon playing it in my PS3 slim, I get the same error code I posted in this thread.

I just downloaded this one and will try it. I have gone through two coasters now, do think the latest beta may have solved the issue with Social Network?

I really think it's your media! Please pick up a good quality BDRE like TDK or Verbatim and then try. Even though you made some good backups your media is unreliable. I had ps3 errors with the same media you are using!

I will order some then Rather than using BD-RE(expensive) can I just grab some 25GB BD-R Verbatim's? They average just over $1.00 per disc.

                Thanks,

DZ has a very good point with the RE which I think you have missed.. Just get 1 and then you can fine tune the procedures that you use and do test burns, etc without it costing you bux every time.

After testing with RE, you can then burn to the -R.

Gotcha. I will use the RE's for the testing etc. Once I move to the -R's, can I then use the cheap verbatims on meritline for example?

For gods sake, get "CHEAP" out of your vocabulary & mind otherwise you will end up with failed burns & disks being unusable down the track.

                      How about "Cost-Effective"?
