      Good luck on that movie. I have a thread on here that no one seemed to know the answer for. Kept getting bad sync errors on IMGBurn, even though the movie successfully completed. In the end, it won't play on my player or PS3.

        That's a issue with binding nonce;
        Please tell me which BD writer you used.
        Best Regards.

                  Hey CBR,

                  In the release notes for the Asus fix it states only works with VSO is this all burning to make a protected disc like when they first implemented BMDV-REC? Or can we still use ImgBurn if we have an LG Burner?

                    I am not sure, will have to wait for Fengtao or someone from his team to comment on this.

                      In 8099Beta, we fixed the ASUS burner used VSO, and Imgburn is not supported yet.
                      Best Regards.

                      Add fengtao's change log:
                      New: Improved protected disc (BDMV-REC) burning on certain writers like ASUS. Please note only VSO burning engine supports it for now.

                        I am about to rip this movie to VOB Passthrough, but I just noticed this Cinavia message pop up.

                        I was planning to stream it using my PS3. I guess I can't do that. Is that correct?

                        Edit: Well, I just ripped it normally, and it is streaming fine via my PS3.

                          Update: After about 20 minutes of playback, the volume was muted by Cinavia.

                            Obviously. That's why you need to make a protected backup so Cinavia won't kick in.

                              It is not so obvious to me.
                              How do I make a protected DVD VOB Passthrough backup?
