Insidious throw error code 116 Burn Failed

Hi , the first times i got this error my Memorex BD-25 disc was not burned , the program shows 40% of burn progress but the disk was still blank .

Then i research error codes and it was that i found :

What does "task_2 Error=116" mean and how to fix it?

It is a burning failed or process aborted error. Please try the following steps to see if the problem can be fixed:
1. Install the latest version of DVDFab at
2. Update to the latest firmware of DVD writer;
3. Enable DMA for DVD writer;
4. Slow down the burning speed;
5. Try different brand media, well-known brands like Taiyo Yuden and Verbatim will be better; Please keep away of Memorex media, some of which are of poor quality;
6. Try different format media like DVD+/-R/RW if your DVD writer supports;

I update my BD Burner firmware , enable DMA on DVDFab and slow down the speed to 2X , then i got the same error but this time the media was burned and was unusable .

Maybe it fix the problem , i'll try it when i get my new BD-RE media

could you please post the steps you are taking to back up this movie. And have you installed ImgBurn? Also are you trying to make a protected back up? for Cinavia?

Yes first i copy the Full disc to the Hard Drive , then select the movie from hard drive and use Main Movie , select audio and captions , select BD25 , and next then start . The option to make a protected backup for cinavia is not available . And no, I dont install ImgBurn , im waiting for the BD-RE media to test the next tries with it .

If you are just copying main movie you do not need to write the whole disc to the HDD. You can do main movie only and then compress on the HDD. Let us know when you get your BDRE and install ImgBurn.

Problem solved with 8.1.0.6 version of Fab , i used a BD-RE and it plays flawless .
Anyone tell me why it takes 1 hour and half to burn on a BD-RE 2X ?? While it takes me 25 minutes on a regular BD-R at 2X ?? Another question , its a good idea to use ImgBurn instead of VSO burner or Nero ??
