    Burb Failure Repeatedly

These discs are expensive so I'm wondering how I can stop throwing money away because I cant burn Blue Ray to Blue Ray. The burner ejects the disc at 65%. Also I'm not sure how to access my log to post it for more help.

    Here's the log...

Also the VSO burn engine has been buggy for some people. Try ImgBurn (link in sig to a post by Troy512's who created a great video on how to set it up with DVDFab. Watch it in HD for a better viewing experience. Make sure your BD drive has the latest firmware update.

      Still Unable To Burn

I downloaded Imgburn and followed step by step the instructions from the Youtube video in making Imgburn work with DVDFab. The problem was the file to be burned showed to be bigger than the disc spaced allowed. I'm using Verbatim, 25GB BD-R.

      File size = 39,615 MB
      Disc space = 23,866

Can someone help me? There is no log because I didn't wanna waste another disc. I saw somewhere on our Forum that someone is paying 5.00/disc. I sure would like to know where he's buying his discs from!

Need more details, what exactly are you trying to do? back up full disc? Rip main movie? Read the Help Us Help You document and post all the info. Post the recent Imgburn log and Fab's internal log.

Fab doesn't support full disc compression to a 25GB disc yet. It will compress main movie only. If the main movie needs compression to fit onto one 25GB disc I suggest ripping the full disc to your hdd first and use that as your source for the main rip/compression task. It's very cpu intense and suggested not to multi-task while it's running.

The ImgBurn log will be within the DVDFab\Logs folder if set up correctly with Fab as per Troy512's instructions. I would also suggest testing the files after compression with a software player on your computer. Some suggest getting a re-writable BD-RE disc for testing and it's not a bad idea.

For BD+ Removal you need to use as DVDFab 6.2.0.5 that you have installed does not support BD+ removal as that is still in the Beta stages. Another thing I suggest that you invest in some BD-RE (rewritable) discs like Wild And Blue mentioned so you not waste any more money trying to get a working back up

I am picking up the BD-RE today. How can I get "DVDFab 6.2.0.2 Beta"? Can someone who has had numerous successful Blue Ray burns please tell me what DVDFab version they are using and any complimentary program so that I may be able to enjoy the same success. i would greatly appreciate it.

Thats why you can't copy to a 25GB disc. Fab doesn't support compression for full disc yet.

                            1. Rip full disc to your HDD first.
                            2. Use that folder as your source in main movie mode.
                            3. Make sure you have BD25 selected in the dropdown beside quality.
                            4. Click Start.

If you still have problems check your settings within Fab. Click the check mark for common settings>DVD/Blu-ray/write...what is the Blu-ray writable media size? The default should be 23700MB.

Well it's December and I haven't been able to burn not one Blue Ray DVD. Nor have I been able to get the support needed to be successful.
