This is leading me to believe you have a bad disc, which could be caused by a few things mainly degradation. Also if you are trying to make a BDMV-REC this will not work you will need the original
    For Win7 C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
    or Vista C:\Users\User Name\Documents\DVDFab\Log
    or for XP C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
Please use attachment button and attach your most recent, Internal and Burn log(s)and post right here.

      Hi JSJaykay00
I am confused are you saying that you are trying to clone a backup that you already have, or are you using the original disc...
I'm thinking you are using the original disc...

I am not sure if this will help but, your drive has had many firmware updates and yours is 5 updates behind, you will find the newest one here

NOTE: If you do not know how to flash your drive do not do it, it will render your drive useless.
      Hope this helps

Even if it's a little thing, do something for those who have need of help, something for which you get no pay but the privilege of doing it.

ok so what you are saying is that you can only make a BDMV-REC using the original disc and not from a backed up BDMV-REC?

The problem is that there is something wrong with the original disc after creating a BDMV-REC (which worked). The only working one is now is the BD-RE-DL and I wanted it to make it on a BD-R because of BD-RE-DL can break easily over time.
Is the only solution to get another original?
        And thanks for replies

          Hi JSJaykay00
If you do not have the original in your possession it is against Copyright Laws in the DVDFab Forums give this a read through

If you have the original I suggest you return the original for a refund and get another disc.

I am closing this thread until you post logs that show that you are using the original disc, in which time a moderator may reopen it.
