Main Movie - Undisputed 3 - BD9 is taking about 6 hours to finish

    Dear DVDFab,

With my old 8.1.0.5 version, it would take me a maximum of about 3 hours to finish backing up a blu-ray disc. Now with the new version 8.1.1.2 it took me a whoping 6 hours to finish. Please take a look into this. Thanks.

    I am running:

    - Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit Service Pack 2 with all the latest updates.

    - Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T6400 2.00 GHz.

    - 4.00 GB RAM.

    Hi, DVDFabLover2011,

You are compressing the Blu-ray Main Movie to a blank DVD 9 disc, which involves in huge data processing, to save you much wear and tear, you'd better not compress from optical dive directly, use Main Movie mode to copy the movie to your HDD and then compress from there.

Also, remove the HD Audio will reduce the compression time, too.

      Malcolm,

Thank you for your reply. CBR929 already showed me how to do that in my other post. I will give this a try and I will post a result once everything is done.

I'm new to DVDFab and I just followed what is in the tutorials and the tutorials showed me to do that
